Description
A capacitive sensor fitted in the head calculates the distance of the nozzle from the cutting surface and sends the signal. This signal is miniscule and must be carried without and noise, distortion and loss to an amplifier which relays it back to the control system. The control system in turn ensures that the nozzle maintains a constant distance from the cutting surface.
Maintenance of constant distance ensures good cutting quality.
This sturdy coaxial cable takes the signal from the sensor and relays it to the amplifier, making it an important part.
